What series you race in:
Ruby & Ollie Clark-ward @ Red-Lodge club 2000, Fulbeck, Wildtrax
Services performed:
Upgraded 2 engines to 2017 regs, cylinder head skims, carbs optimized for summer, followed the clutch advice, upon dyno validation one of the engines was not performing, deeper investigation showed the con-rod big-end & crankshaft had seen better days, so replacement parts were fitted along with a hone and new piston rings while the engine was fully apart. All fully checked with the ABKC scrutineer gauges.
How it performed on track.
The first engine was used at Wildtracks and better standing starts were immediately seen and it allowed Ruby to keep in the pack. The 2nd engine with replacement crank and rod + hone was used at Fulbeck race weekend, this allowed Ruby to keep up with the leading pack and achieve a brilliant 3rd place podium. Well done Ruby.
